Reasons Hoomans Send Their Hounds to Pawsies

Hello again, Boomer here — resident host, toy tester, and biscuit inspector at Pawsies.

I see all sorts of dogs come through our door, and every one of them has a story. Some come for cuddles, some for company, and some… well, to give their hoomans a little break from the chaos!

Here are the top reasons I’ve sniffed out for why dogs come to stay with us:

🐾 1. The “Too Hot for Hounds” Holiday.
Some hoomans fly off to sunny places where the sand burns your paws. No thanks! I’ll stick with the paddling pool and air-con naps.

🐾 2. The DIY Disaster.
Paint fumes, ladders, and new carpets are not ideal for a wagging tail. We provide a safe zone — no wet paint, just wet noses.

🐾 3. The Christmas Shopping Secret Mission.
Apparently, hoomans need “peace” to buy our presents. I don’t mind. I’ll pretend not to notice the wrapping paper later.

🐾 4. The Busy Hooman.
Some of my pals stay while their hoomans tackle big work projects. I say: work hard, play fetch harder.

🐾 5. The Just-Because Visit.
And my favourite — when hoomans book a stay just because they know their dog loves it here. I mean, who wouldn’t? We’ve got walks, cuddles, and biscuits on tap!

So, whatever the reason, the result’s the same: happy hound, relaxed hooman, and me — Boomer — one very content host.
