Christmas Day

Possibly the best day of the year

Boomer here, reporting on what is possibly the best day of the entire year.

Yes, even better than "new toy day" .
Christmas Day at Pawsies is something very special. It's a day for dogs whose hoomans are busy visiting family, travelling, or juggling a house full of humans who keep dropping food but saying "no, that's not for dogs" (rude).

So instead, they come to us. Lucky them. Lucky me.

A House Full of Friends

Christmas morning started the right way — with wagging tails, curious noses, and everyone checking whether Father Christmas had been sensible enough to bring treats.

Some dogs arrived a little unsure, some bounced in like they owned the place, but before long we were all part of the same pack. That's the magic of Pawsies: nobody feels left out for long.

The Christmas Dinner Situation

Now let’s talk about the main event.
Christmas dinner.

The kitchen smelled incredible. I supervised closely. Very closely. Quality control is important.

Dinner was dog-safe, tasty, and absolutely deserving of a nap afterwards. There were clean bowls, happy faces, and not a single complaint — which is rare in a group of dogs, believe me.

I personally checked every bowl to make sure standards were upheld.

Post-Dinner Activities
After dinner came the important stuff:

Some of us played gently, some of us cuddled the humans, and some of us just watched the world go by, feeling very content.

That's what Christmas should feel like.

A Thought from Me

Christmas isn't always about big parties or busy houses. Sometimes it's about knowing your dog is safe, cared for, and having a lovely day — even if you can't be together.

And for us dogs?
It's about friendship, full tummies, and feeling at home.

I hope all my visiting friends slept well that night. I know I did.

Wags and festive woofs,
